Environmental 2000 Festival

As part of our on-going programme of supplemental English projects, our Preparatory students were among the top contributors to the Environmental 2000 Festival. This event was held November 2000 at the Cairo Opera House, under the joint auspices of the Egyptian Tourism Authority and the Cairo Sheraton. Our students conducted independent research, which included scientific experiments, video and photographic exposes, along with a wealth of other artistic and written material. At the conclusion of the festival our students donated the proceeds from hand-crafts, they made and sold, to charity.
